Description
A stool for the royal couple's entourage. Mies van der Rohe presented the Barcelona stool together with the Barcelona armchair at the 1929 World's Fair. The armchair was dedicated to the Spanish royal couple, while the entourage was to sit on the stool.
Today, you can place the Mies van der Rohe stool in your living room and enjoy the functional Bauhaus style with elegant charm and a royal past. The stool consists of a frame made of chrome-plated special spring steel. It is covered with strips of core leather. The upholstery is covered in leather and features small leather squares.
