Charles Ormand Eames (pronunciation: [ˈiːmz], * June 17, 1907 in St. Louis, Missouri; † August 21, 1978 ibid.) was an American designer and architect.

Together with his wife Ray Eames (1912-1988), he made a significant contribution to the development of US post-war design and continues to inspire designers today, particularly with his functional furniture designs.
