This stylish bar stool from the Bauhaus era was designed by Harry Bertoia. The designer was fascinated by the artistic possibilities offered by metal. He designed metal sculptures, jewelry and furniture. This also gave rise to the wire chair series, to which this bar stool belongs.
Characteristic of the series is the seat and back of the chair in the style of a lattice. The Stool Wire stands on a sturdy tubular steel frame. To ensure seating comfort, a cushion covered in leather or fabric rests on the curved grid.
